Transcript Privacy
Sensitive identity verification data is automatically redacted from webhook payloads.
When your AI agents use identity verification (e.g., asking for date of birth, SSN, or account numbers), the customer's answers are automatically redacted from webhook payloads to protect sensitive data.
Example
If the AI asks a customer to verify their date of birth, the webhook transcript will show:
ASSISTANT: For security, could you please confirm your date of birth?
USER: [DATE OF BIRTH REDACTED]
ASSISTANT: Thank you, I've verified your identity.- Only the customer's verification answers are redacted while the AI's questions remain visible for context.
- Redaction applies to all transcript types: phone calls, voice widgets, and text widgets.
- Field labels are derived from your verification step configuration (e.g.,
[SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER REDACTED],[ACCOUNT NUMBER REDACTED]).
